Once you've got your browser of choice, keeping it updated is even easier.

For most Internet users, your browser is your window to the Web.

You use it to navigate to Web sites, and it displays those sites for you, allowing you to follow links and explore everything the web has to offer.

To make sure you're protected by the latest security updates, Google Chrome can automatically update when a new version of the browser is available on your device.

With these updates, you might sometimes notice that your browser looks different.

As of January 2015, Stat Counter estimates that Google Chrome has a 51% worldwide usage share of web browsers as a desktop browser, it is also the most popular browser for smartphones.
